Leave Management

All leave assignments are established as per rules and regulations defined by Government of Pakistan. The Following types of leaves are available for employees during the course of employment.

Annual Leave : 14 X days
Sick Leave : 8 X days
Casual Leave : 10 X days

Gratuity

All Apollo employees, on completion of five years, become eligible for Gratuity. As per policy, Gratuity is paid to employees on Resignation or Termination of the employee.

Skills & Tools:

  • Experience in Backend development using PHP or Node.JS
  • Experience in Laravel or CodeIgniter would be a big plus.
  • Knowledge of developing MVC / HMVC web applications.
  • Knowledge of creating & consuming Restful APIs.
  • Database: SQL as well as NoSQL (MySQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB).
  • Software Container: Docker, Google Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.
  • Software Versioning: BitBucket.
  • Issues tracking: Jira.
  • Front-end development would be a plus: HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, JQuery, bootstrap, Angular/React Framework.

Job Experience Required:

  • You will be part of the Product Development team. Your main goals will include productizing existing bespoke software as well as participate in the product life-cycle of newly conceived products.
  • You will develop new features & functionality under the guidance of more senior team members.
  • You need to be a motivated and talented individual with experience in working as a team as well as collaborate with intra-department teams.
  • You will build understanding of local development environments and integration of varying components.
  • You will need a strong understanding of build processes/automation.
  • You will also be required to assist with debugging / development of bug fixes - day-to-day maintenance of various products working in production for various clients.

Your Responsiblities:

  • Experience in using Spring (boot, security), Core Java/Java EE/Java SE
  • Experience using Hibernate framework
  • Database: MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle (Others would be advantageous)
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, MySQL data stores, database design and querying
  • Front-end development: HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery, bootstrap
  • Software Versioning: Bitbucket/GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD
  • Issues tracking: Kanban Board, JIRA
  • Environments: Linux, Windows Server (AWS/Azure would be advantageous)
  • Experience working with RESTful web services, SOAP APIs
  • Fresh to 3 years of relevant experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Angular or React would be advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • You will be productizing existing bespoke software application/solutions.
  • Design and Implement application architectures and code that is highly scalable, performant, and secure.
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
